Biographie

Mizaistom reveals to Kurapika that Tserriednich is the owner of a large collection of Scarlet Eyes. This information pushes Kurapika to join the Zodiacs and embark for the Dark Continent in order to approach him.

Tserriednich first appears in one of his hotels, where he murders and dismembers young women he considers uneducated in order to produce a macabre art form. Benjamin then informs him that the only surviving prince from the journey will become king; Tserriednich is delighted to be able to eliminate his brothers and sisters.

After confirming his guards' qualification for the Hunter Exam, he participates in the Urn of Succession ceremony. Still ignoring Nen, he perceives neither the fairy nor the egg transmitted to him. During the departure ceremonies, he displays his belief in becoming king and silently calls the crowd an ignorant mass.

On board, Tubeppa offers him an alliance against their three elders. He approves of her judgment but inwardly wonders if she will still be alive a week later. Kurapika's announcement regarding the Beasts of Nen leads him to question Theta, then demand that she teach him Nen immediately.

Within hours, Tserriednich learns to visualize the aura and begins Gyo, revealing a talent that terrifies Theta. When she tries to slow down her learning, her guardian Spirit Beast detects her lies and marks her. The creature then interrupts Queen Oito's surveillance by neutralizing the cockroach controlled by Little Eye.

After just a few days, his water test causes the leaf to wilt, the water to boil and produce a putrid odor: he is identified as a Specialist with a particularly sinister nature. He quickly masters Ten, Ren and the closure of his aura nodes, while unconsciously materializing a second Beast of Nen linked to his own power.

During a Zetsu exercise, he discovers Parallel Future: by closing his eyes, he instantly sees the next ten seconds, then can act differently while the others continue to perceive the predicted scene. He thus survives Theta's attempted execution, dodges her shot and hides the incident from his guards.

After being captivated by Melody's music, he realizes that another of Nen's abilities is at work and seeks to recruit her. He theorizes his own power and decides to shorten the activation time of his Zetsu as much as possible, convinced that perfect mastery will allow him to dominate the succession and then the world.

During Theta's rest, he continues his training with Salkov. In one week, he already applies the four fundamental exercises and drops below ten seconds to activate Zetsu, then reaches 3.496 seconds on the eleventh day, while running and using his phone.

At the same time, her private troop is looking for Morena Prudo and the Heil-Ly in Tier 3. Her former comrades from the Military Academy understand that her lack of reaction comes from her fascination with Nen and try to protect Borksen, who was finally kidnapped by the Heil-Ly.

Tserriednich refuses Kacho's posthumous letter and orders it thrown out. On the twelfth day, Benjamin, contaminated by TSK-17, proclaimed martial law and publicly accused Tserriednich of having conspired with Halkenburg to commit a biological attack.

As one of the eldest princes of Kakin, Tserriednich has considerable political influence, immense funds, a luxurious hotel, a bodyguard, and a personal army. Extremely intelligent and cultured, he masters many scientific, philosophical and artistic fields. Theta believes that his ability to consider multiple scenarios simultaneously exceeds his own, even in a field as new to him as Nen. His visualization, concentration and learning speed are exceptional.

Tserriednich sees aura within hours, holds an hour of Zetsu on his third attempt and reaches 3.496 seconds of activation while running. Parallel Future shows him the next ten seconds and lets him act against them — which is how he survives Theta's execution attempt, while his Guardian Beast opens her cheek for lying and warns her that the next lie takes her humanity. The last line is the whole of him: the scarlet eyes are perfect, permanent, and cannot admire him back.
