Biography
Chrollo finally accepts Hisoka's duel to the death at the Celestial Tower. From the start, Hisoka understands that his opponent has gathered several abilities especially for this fight. Far from shrinking from Chrollo's explanations and certainty of victory, he becomes ever more enthusiastic when faced with the complexity of the challenge.
Hisoka first confronts the refereeing body manipulated by Black Voice, then the copies animated by Gallery Fake and Order Stamp. He methodically analyzes the rules revealed by Chrollo, decapitates the puppets to neutralize them and tries to identify changes in ability from the disappearance of marks and copies.
When dozens of puppets assault him, Hisoka uses Bungee Gum to move above the arena and transforms severed heads into projectiles reinforced with Shu. He manages to injure Chrollo, but falls into several feints based on Convert Hands and the post-mortem persistence of The Sun and Moon's marks.
Chrollo ultimately launches more than two hundred puppets against him. Hisoka improvises a human hammer with Bungee Gum, but a head explodes in his hand and tears off four of his fingers. Other explosions destroy a leg and throw him into the middle of a final mass of puppets. Unable to escape, he suffocated under the bodies after the final detonation.
Before his death, Hisoka orders Bungee Gum to wrap his heart and lungs and then contract after the fight. His post-mortem Nen revives these organs and resurrects him. He reconstructs a hand, a foot and his face with Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise, recognizing that fighting Chrollo under the conditions Chrollo prepared was a mistake.
Hisoka then changes the rules of his hunt: he will no longer wait for his opponents to choose the place or time. After immobilizing Machi and announcing that he will kill the entire Brigade, he assassinates Kortopi then Shalnark, whose bodies he exposes as a warning.
On the Black Whale, the Brigade and the Xi-Yu and Cha-R families launch a vast search. Information about Hisoka circulates between floors, but several supposed apparitions are just Bonolenov transformed. He neutralizes Zakuro, kills Lynch when she discovers the imposture and accepts in this guise a VVIP pass offered by Hinrigh.
The real Hisoka only appears on the eleventh day, at the Tier 1 casino. He plays SQ-X, even abandons a jackpot and meditates on his desire for single combat to the death. He is unaware that Bonolenov, still disguised as him, has just spotted him and quickly transforms into Owl so as not to be discovered.
On the twelfth day, Hinrigh and Zakuro understand that the so-called Hisoka they met in Tier 3 was an impostor who murdered Lynch. They deduce that this staging was intended to push the mafias to open a route to the higher levels for members of the Brigade, without yet knowing all of Bonolenov's motivations.
ABILITIES & POWERS
Hisoka is a first-rate fighter, assassin and tactician. His strength, speed, reflexes, and stamina allow him to compete with the best Nen users. He constantly transforms the terrain into a trap, conceals his ties with In and strengthens his cards with Shu until he can cut through bones or concrete. His psychological reading, his taste for risk and his ability to improvise make his two Hatsu extremely dangerous despite their simple principle.
Card game used as a bladed weapon and projectile. Empowered by Shu, the cards can cut through flesh, bone, and even concrete; Hisoka can recall them or change their trajectory with Bungee Gum hidden by In.
AURA PROFILE
Nen & abilities
Hisoka possesses a powerful and sinister aura. An accomplished transmuter, he precisely controls the shape and lengthening of his aura and also masters Materialization, Emission and probably Reinforcement. He knows post-mortem Nen, exorcism and memory overload phenomena.
His Ken allows him to survive several explosions from The Sun and Moon. With Shu, his cards and even a severed head become destructive projectiles; with In, he hides Bungee Gum filaments and constructs multi-stage traps. After his death, he gave his aura an automatic command capable of restarting his heart and lungs.
