Misha Hao is recorded as the Xi-Yu family's undertaker and nothing else — the registry holds his trade and his house, no scene. The sheet is written from the shape of the voyage around him: the Heil-Ly killings produce hundreds of disappearances rather than bodies, and the Spiders later conclude the family may have taken over the ship's waste processing precisely so that the dead never surface.

Written in the style of Neon Nostrade's poems. Lovely Ghostwriter had already vanished from Skill Hunter when the Black Whale sailed: this sheet is a reconstruction, not a record.

      The Black Whale sounds its horn and leaves the port of Kakin for the New Continent, at noon on a Sunday. The blast is what opens the Succession Contest: the rules read out at the urn ceremony hold that the contest begins with it, and that a potential heir dying before it would call the whole thing off.
