Biography
Morena embarks with at least twenty-two members of the Heil-Ly. She kisses each of them to activate Contagion, explains that killing earns levels, and releases her group onto the ship with the goal of destroying Kakin and then the entire world.
Its recruits massacre passengers in order to reach level 21 and develop their own abilities. Their offensive causes hundreds of disappearances, upsets the balance of the three mafias and pushes the Xi-Yu as well as the Cha-R to consider its elimination.
Morena personally advises her members on their future powers. Facing Tevelares, Quorolle and Gelato, she explains that experience, technique, aura and ingenuity determine a Nen fight, then proposes transforming their clashes into systems comparable to games.
When her affair with Tserriednich falls silent, Morena understands that he suspects her betrayal. She abandons the decoy of room 3101, organizes several access doors to her real cache and wants to infect a soldier from Tserriednich in order to follow the movements of her former protector.
She distributes the roles between her subordinates: Yokotani and Orarge monitor the entrances, Notre and Soufflé observe the old lair, while Dogman must exceed level 50 and find a person meeting very specific criteria.
Hinrigh and Nobunaga cross the trap of room 3101 and discover a base with reinforced walls, probably by Morena's Nen. Hinrigh hides a transmitter there which allows the Brigade to conclude that the real cache is located in Tier 2.
Morena uses Halkenburg's funeral procession as cover for Dogman's operation, now level 62. He kidnaps Borksen, a soldier from Tserriednich and a wanted Specialist, then takes her to the secret base.
Morena suggests that Borksen join Heil-Ly as a “compatible donor” and imposes a negotiation game on her. The player questions Morena using seven thematic cards while the dealer gradually eliminates the five possible answers: Yes, No, Return, Joker and X.
The game forces Morena to reveal her goal, power, and sensitive information. She explains to Borksen her origins as "Flesh", her irrevocable desire to destroy Kakin and then the world, and the need for a Specialist capable of developing an ability still kept secret.
Borksen uses the Deal card to retrieve an answer in exchange for a kiss, one of the conditions of Contagion. The declaration of martial law briefly tenses Morena, but she continues the game and answers questions about her family and her hideout.
After several maneuvers, Borksen ends with Return then voluntarily chooses Yes. Morena tells him that she remains level zero until the last condition is fulfilled and that she will be able to return to her friends, but will be killed if she ceases to be useful. Cheating committed during the game also allows the manipulative component of Contagion to influence it.
ABILITIES & POWERS
Morena commands the new Heil-Ly and all its members, who have become Nen users. She single-handedly staged a coup that transformed a trafficking organization into a network of revolutionary killers. Very intelligent, she views the progression of her recruits as a game, understands the categories, wishes and restrictions of Nen and guides them towards abilities compatible with their objectives. His faction officially controls Tier 3, while his real secret base is in Tier 2.
Twelve cards used between a dealer and a player: seven questions for Morena and five final answers for the recruit. The result conditions the infection by Contagion and exposes both parties to risks serving as a restriction of Nen.
AURA PROFILE
Nen & abilities
Morena spontaneously awakened Nen. Member Zero and level 45 of Contagion, she benefits from an increased quantity and flow of aura and could have developed a second ability. Nobunaga suspects that she is creating or strengthening the Heil-Ly's indestructible cache.
Its main danger lies in the organization, monitoring and collective growth of its recruits rather than in known direct combat.
