Biography
Nasubi announces Kakin's state-sponsored voyage to the Dark Continent and entrusts it to Beyond Netero. Behind the public expedition, he revives the royal succession ritual and informs his fourteen children that only the survivor may inherit the throne.
Aboard the Black Whale, he remains in Tier 1 and refuses to clarify what constitutes withdrawal from the contest. He can perceive the Guardian Spirit Beasts and regards the ship's population as the sacrifice sustaining Kakin's future.
Halkenburg confronts and later shoots him, but a Guardian Spirit Beast catches the bullet. Nasubi insists that a king must accept every life in the nation as part of the succession, while preserving strict neutrality between the princes.
