The registry gives Sodom a back-alley doctor's practice, a hitman's contracts and the Heil-Ly — that is the whole record so far. The sheet is written from Contagion's rule rather than from a scene: Morena kisses each recruit, killing raises their level, and abilities appear once they pass twenty-one, which is why the ship's disappearances are a curriculum and not a crime wave.

Written in the style of Neon Nostrade's poems. Lovely Ghostwriter had already vanished from Skill Hunter when the Black Whale sailed: this sheet is a reconstruction, not a record.

      The Black Whale sounds its horn and leaves the port of Kakin for the New Continent, at noon on a Sunday. The blast is what opens the Succession Contest: the rules read out at the urn ceremony hold that the contest begins with it, and that a potential heir dying before it would call the whole thing off.
